1. About these terms

These Terms of Service apply when you purchase, download, or use VClip. By buying or using VClip, you agree to them. If you do not agree, please do not use VClip.

2. What VClip is

VClip is a desktop application that uses AI to find the best moments in your long videos and turns them into short clips with captions, titles, and your branding.

VClip runs on your own computer. Your video files are processed and exported locally; only the text content needed for AI analysis (such as the transcript) is sent to the AI provider you configure.

3. Your license

VClip is a one-time purchase (₹150 in India / $5 internationally). Your purchase gives you a personal license to install and use VClip on your own computer.

You may not resell, redistribute, sublicense, or share the app or your download access with others.

Your purchase includes the current version of VClip. Details about future updates will be announced separately.

4. Your API key and AI costs

VClip uses your own OpenRouter API key to perform AI analysis. That key belongs to you, and all AI usage is billed to you directly by OpenRouter under your own account.

VClip does not mark up, resell, or profit from your AI usage. You are responsible for the costs and for keeping your API key private.

5. Acceptable use

You may only use VClip with videos that you own or have the right to use. This includes your own podcasts, interviews, streams, and educational content.

You agree not to use VClip to process content you have no rights to, content that is unlawful, or content that violates the terms of the platforms you plan to post on.

6. AI-generated output

Clip selection, captions, and titles suggested by VClip are generated by AI and may contain mistakes. You are responsible for reviewing every clip before publishing it and for what you post.

7. Payment

VClip is a digital product delivered immediately after purchase. Because of this, all purchases are final and non-refundable.

Payments are handled by our payment processor. We do not store your card details.

8. Disclaimer and liability

VClip is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee that it will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that clip suggestions will always match your expectations.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability to you for anything related to VClip is limited to the amount you paid for it.

9. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. The latest version will always be available on this page.
